I Corinthians 11:3 NAS
One of the challenges for men today is alignment. Every Christian man is to do to Jesus what Jesus did to God: Align himself. Jesus stayed in perfect alignment with the Father.
Psalm 128 Describes the alignment of a Kingdom man.
He pronouces a blessing on men who fear God.
A blessing is experiencing, enjoying, and extending the goodness of God in your life. Whatever you want God to do to you, tell Him how you will use it through you.
What does it mean to fear god?
1. Fearing God is the foundational principle of God working in your life.
2. The fear of God opens up God's treasures.
a. Dread or terror
b. To reverence, be in awe of or hold in high esteem
c. To fear God means to take God seriously
What humanity has done, especially in our wonderful land, we have lowered our definition of God and since we have met that definition, we thing we are OK. To take God seriously means to relate to Him on His standard rather than making Him come down to ours.
When we decide to take God seriously, we begin to see Him unfold His purpose and His blessing that He has destined for us. God wants the total commitment of the man so that through the man and in the man He can express His will.
The blessings of fearing God in Psalm 128:2
1. Your furtune
2. Your feelings
3. Your future
