1) The UNSPIRITUAL person. I Corinthians 2:14 Without the Spirit - psuchikos - soul driven and body driven. 2) The SPIRITUAL person. I Corinthians 2:15 Spiritual - pneumatikos - the spirit man has now come alive. 3) The WORLDLY person. You have to be fathered in order to father others. Hebrews 12: 5-8 Philippians 2: 19-23 LIFE IS ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS. Relationship is not for information - you need formation. Four things that all “fathering” encompasses: 1) Protection 2) Correction King David did not do this. I Kings 1: 5-6 3) Direction I Corinthians 4:16 Direction is exemplary living. 4) Affirmation Matthew 3:17 Jesus received acceptance, affirmation and approval from His Father in the waters of baptism and He hadn’t done anything in ministry yet.
