Deposits of Wisdom

  Proverbs 4:7-8 “Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it
                                 cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and
                                 she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.” NIV

  Proverbs 13:20a “Walk with the wise and become wise...” NIV

  1) Be trustworthy in the small things.
      Proverbs 20:6 “Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person
      who can find?” NIV

      Wisdom’s Reward: When you are found trustworthy in the small things,
      people will empower and invest in you.

  2) Be a second-miler.
       Find out what’s expected of you and always give more.
     “Don’t commence to begin to proceed - Do it !!” Roy Stockstill
       Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish
       your plans.” NIV

      Wisdom’s Reward: People who give more than expected will never lack
      greater opportunities.

  3) Do the most honorable thing.

  a) A life of faith. (this honors God)
       Align your life with His Word.
       It takes faith to advance in all areas.

  b) A life that forgives. (this honors others)
      Proverbs 29:23 “Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit
      gain honor.” NIV

  Wisdom’s Reward: Honor your commitments. Sow honor, reap honor.
